The Family Mug

It has been a while since I really wrote on this blog. I'm having a slump, both in blogging and photography. I still have some photos from our US trip, August last year, that I haven't posted to the gallery yet. That's how slumped I am right now, if that's even a word. BUT! I'm not here to talk about photography but about our Family Mug!

We went to Shangri-la the other week, just to relax and see what's up in the world right now. We've been stuck inside the house for the past several months, due to the baby being sickly and work and my wife breastfeeding and stuff in the house and pingpong and etc. etc. After a few hours walking around, we got to this shop called 'Color Me Mine'. It's a place where you can buy white ceramic ware and paint it to your taste. Perfect! Since David broke my La Salle Legacy Mug and been looking for a coffee mug to replace it. I loved that mug, if anyone knows how I can get a new one please let me know!

So we picked a nice mug and started painting. David being the picasso, painted one half of the mug, and I painted the other. Here's a video of us painting:

After we finished painting, they said we needed to leave it with them for 10 days so they can coat it and for it to be useable.

We just got it a few days ago and here's the finished product:

The Family Mug

I prefer the camera more than the brush.
